Bio
Suzie Mulligan is a Seattle-based interdisciplinary artist, working in photography, oils and encaustic. Through layering, she allows each piece to evolve from the events of the process, revealing representations of the natural world --simplicity, harmony, imperfection, serene beauty.
Education: School of the Art Institute of Chicago, BFA Fine Art and University of Utah, Foundation in Fine Art.
Residency: Independent study in Porcelain Hakuji Technique with Living Treasure Inoue Manji, in Arita, Japan.
